Pharma Zinc Oxide

Pharma type Zinc Oxide is produced from metal Zinc by indirect process (French process). It complies with the specifications of the Argentine National Pharmacopeia and the United States Pharmacopeia (USP).

It is used in the formulation of medicines, cosmetics, dental cements, zinc compounds, catalysts, ferrites and varistors. Its usage in dermatology is essential for skin treatments. Its capacity to neutralize acids and its performance as moderate bactericide makes it an ideal component for antiseptic creams for treatment and prevention of the irritation in baby skins.

It is used in hypoallergenic cosmetic formulations for skin and hair care. Also, in sun protectors, sun screens and cosmetics. Furthermore, it is used in sanitary accessories like adhesive tapes and regenerative bandages.

It is an ideal dietary and vitamin compound in supplements where Zinc is an essential micronutrient.
